  1. Are reappointments considered?
    1. Yes. Current fellows who wish to apply for a second year must reapply. Appointments of new fellows will be prioritized over renewals
  2. Are fellows required to be in the US?
    1. Work from another country is not allowed without prior University approval. Absent that approval, fellows are required to be within the U.S. for the duration of the appointment, though remote work will be permitted during the pandemic.
  3. Are fellows required to be physically present on campus?
    1. Fellows who initially begin the appointment remotely should be prepared to be physically present on campus once health and safety conditions permit resumption of in-person instruction.
  4. Who will provide funds to support books and supplies?
    1. Funds to support books and supplies should be provided by the department/program using the teaching funds.
  5. Are there funds to support fellow travel or start-up?
    1. Funds are not available to support fellow travel or start-up.
  6. Will fellows participate in professional development?
    1. Fellows will participate in professional development (workshops, lunches): commitment ~2-3 hours per month.
  7. Are fellows required to work with department/program chair?
    1. Fellows are required to work with department/program chair to develop teaching program and discuss expectations.
