  • Dean & Department Chair meet to kick off and discuss review guidelines
  • Compile list of potential External Review Team Members in consultation with Dean
  • Prepare draft agenda for site visit

 

July 2023

  • Send letters of invitation to prospective External Review Team members
  • Schedule External Review Team site visit
  • Send confirmation letters to External Review Team members
  • Book hotel rooms

 

August 2023

  • Data preparation for Self-Study
  • Final Self-Study charge 

 

October 2023

  • Self-Study

 

December 2023

  • Draft Self-Study due to Dean’s Office one week before winter closure for comments

 

January 2024

  • Deans response to draft self-study returned to department

 

February 2024

  • Final Self-Study submitted to Dean’s Office
  • Final Self-Study, Deans Charge & Agenda for Site Visit sent to External Review Team

 

March/April/May 2024

  • 3 or 4 day External Review Team Site Visit including closing session with Dean 
  • Thank you letters sent to External Review Team
  • Gather and submit External Review Team Reimbursement Forms and Receipts 

 

May 2024

  • External Review Team Report submitted to Dean and Department Chair

 

June 2024

  • Department submits response to External Review Team Report to Dean
